Manufacturing Process of Salted Peanuts

There are various ways through which you can manufacture salted peanuts in your manufacturing unit. However, depending on your source of raw materials and the flavour of peanut which you plan to manufacture, the process may differ. The most effective way of manufacturing Salted Peanuts is mentioned as follows.

Shelling Process: The first stage in the manufacturing process is called as Shelling. The shelling process is characterized as the shell eliminating step in the handling of nuts. In this interaction, it is ensured that the seed doesn’t encounter any harm to it. Before really completing the cycle, the dampness of the un-shelled peanuts is directed to ensure that the shells don’t turn out to be excessively frangible.

Screening Process: Once the shelling process is done, the peanuts are then passed through the rollers to have the outer shell removed properly. Once that part is done, the next stage is the screening process. The Screening process can be described as the cleaning part where all the contamination and other types of impurities are removed from the shell.

Roasting Process: The third step in line is the roasting process. Generally, people believe that the roasting process is very complicated since it is being carried out on a large scale. However, the process is very similar to the one which is being conducted at homes. The only difference is that it is being carried out on a large scale and at a manufacturing unit. In a unit, roasting can be done either through a batch process or through a continuous process, depending on the quantity of the output and the type of machinery used.

Cooling Process: The next stage after the roasting period is the cooling process. Once the peanuts are roasted, they are immediately subjected to a cooling temperature, where they are placed in a metal cylinder with suction fans, making the process smooth. This process helps in making the peanuts retain the moisture and oil and oil, thereby making the temperature drop by 30 degrees Celsius.

Blanching Process: This might be a process that cannot be carried out by small-scale businesses or in some other manner. Blanching is carried on to remove the external coat of the peanut seeds. This can be done either by heat blanching or water blanching. As you may have guessed, heat blanching is having the peanut seeds exposed to a hot temperature and the waste is removed aside. Whereas in Water blanching, the peanuts are passed through stationery blades, and in a hot bath water, the waste is removed aside and the remaining is used further.

Final Stage: The final stage is the mixing of all the other ingredients such as salt, pepper, etc, according to the type of peanuts you manufacture. Once the mixing process is done, you have your salted peanuts as your end product. Depending on the type of packaging you use, the salted peanut is then packed away.
